4 Days Mount Meru Trek

Trekking Overview

At 4,566 meters (14,979 feet), Mount Meru is Tanzania's second-highest peak, often overshadowed by Kilimanjaro. However, it offers an incredible trekking experience with wildlife-filled forests, scenic grasslands, and a thrilling ridge walk to the summit. Mount Meru, located east of the Great Rift Valley and approximately 40 km southwest of Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania's Arusha National Park, is an active volcano and the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. It is also considered by some to be the fourth-highest mountain in Africa, after Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, and the Rwenzori Mountains (also known as the Mountains of the Moon).
